Tenugui (Ise Cotton Towel)
Tenugui is Japanese traditional hand towels made of cotton. These tenugui made by "and" use cotton from Ise widely known to have Ise Shrine, the head of all shinto shrines in Japan. Only one company remains in operation of Ise Cotton. They follow an original traditional method of weaving that has been passed down, which makes Ise Cotton special.
Ise Cotton is known for better absorbent and quicker dry. The more you use it the more you comfortable with using it as Tenugui threads gradually go back to original threads as you wash it.
